Heart surgery used to mean traveling to major metro cities, spending lakhs of rupees, and being far from family during the most critical time of your life. Not anymore. At SJS Hospital, our dedicated CVTS operation theater, established shortly after our inception, brings advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical capabilities right to your community—making life-saving procedures accessible, affordable, and close to home.
Within just 18 months of opening our doors, we inaugurated our specialized CVTS operation theater—a significant milestone that transformed cardiac care in our region. This dedicated facility is equipped with advanced surgical equipment and life support systems necessary for performing major open-heart surgeries and complex cardio-thoracic procedures.
Our CVTS team comprises experienced cardiac and thoracic surgeons supported by specialized anesthesiologists, perfusionists (heart-lung machine operators), and trained nursing staff. Together, they perform life-saving surgeries with the precision and care you’d expect from top cardiac centers in major cities.
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG): Single, double, triple, or quadruple bypass surgery using heart-lung machine; treatment for multiple blocked heart arteries; alternative when angioplasty isn’t suitable; long-lasting relief from angina; improved heart function and prevention of heart attacks.
